Task

Create a wholesale Shopify store by replicating retail e-commerce store branding; perform speed and conversion optimization on retail store.

Result

Task completed – wholesale system created using Shopify. Built-in critical functionality – users do not have the right to see prices until they are logged in, and must receive administrator approval to login after registration.

Also optimized the retail site for more and bigger purchases (increased the average order amount) – added a more convenient, sliding cart, added a haunting “add to cart” button, created informational tabs on the product page, etc.

With speed optimization, we achieved a score of 84 for mobile and 97 for desktop (based on Google PageSpeed Insights).
